Poppy Dress

My friend Cass has a new baby granddaughter - Flannery Talbot! I made this Poppy Dress for her - a knitted bodice with a fabric skirt - meant to be worn rather long, though not fully floor length. The parents like green, so I chose this green and lavender batik and paired it with Cotton Classic for the top. Size 2 so she can wear it later. I hope they like it! I purchased the Ewetopia Fiber Shop pattern at the Midwest Folk & Fiber Festival at the Lake County Fairgrounds in 2011. It is also available through Ravelry.

    I ordered the labels from one of those ads at the back of Vogue Knitting or Interweave Knits.
