I have made two oth...Michelle - the quilt WAS soft! I have made two others that were not as soft. I think that it was the backing of each square. T-shirts have to be stabilized by applying a fusible interfacing to the back of each one. This makes them workable by preventing stretching. When I went to QH, the woman who waited on me said they have a customer who does many t-shirt quilts for profit. She said that this quilter has a preferred fusible, so that's the one I bought. It's a woven product - which is exactly the opposite of what my instructions called for. The non-wovens are stiffer, imo.
